IoT image#1_

Autodesk have gained a further competitive edge over their competitors by acquiring SeeControl an Internet of Things (IoT) software company, and by developing in house software platform Forge that develops apps and services for SeeControl.

Cloud based IoT is the ultimate in design feedback from products ‘in the field’. Sensors & software attached to these products share performance & behaviourial data with each other and with internet cloud software. This leads to informed design improvements and upgrades using Autodesk 3D CAD software products or similiar. This important software tool will further enhance & compliment Autodesk’s product range for sure.
